Selection from practice for trading in agricultural commodities

• The auction date for agricultural commodities is every Thursday.
• The currencies used for trading in agricultural commodities are CZK and EUR, while for calculating the exchange fees the CNB exchange rate valid as of the day of the transaction is used for converting EUR to CZK.
• The basic unit of measurement used for trading in agricultural commodities is ton.
• The minimum tradable volume (lot) of agricultural commodities is 10 tons.
• The starting price for 1 ton of agricultural commodities is always determined in whole Czech crowns or in EUR 0.05.
• The minimum increment when trading in agricultural commodities is CZK 1 or EUR 0.05 and their integer multiples.
